Are you an author in need of a professional opinion of your work? I’m a professional author, editor, and writing mentor and obsessed with all things fiction.

What a critique includes:

• General opinions on the manuscript, what works, and how it can be improved.
• How to make the manuscript appeal to its intended readership.
• Correcting obvious spelling and grammar mistakes (please note this is not the same as editing or proofreading).
• Notes throughout the manuscript on specific issues.
• A document containing overall opinions divided into plot, characters, voice, etc.

Price:

First 10 pages: $50/€41/£35.

Whole manuscript: 1 cent/penny per word

All payments are made through either Paypal or bank transfer (I have both UK and Finnish bank accounts).

What I need from you:

• Whether you’d like the finished work in Microsoft Word or a Google document.
• Your deadline (if you have one).
• Who your intended audience is.
• Whether you intend to self-publish or submit to agents/publishers (if you haven’t decided this yet, don’t worry).
• Anything else you think will be useful.
